HOW TURKEYS ARE SHIPPED Each turkey is packed with great care to ensure it's safe arrival to your door. Once cooked and safely cooled turkeys are packed into an insulated foam cooler which has a lid and surrounded by gel refrigerant. The refrigerant is placed around the bird to keep it at a safe temperature while traveling to your home. The turkeys and enclosed in the cooler and then the entire closed cooler is placed in a sturdy cardboard shipping container and then sealed with the heating instructions enclosed. Your shipping information is then placed on the outside of the box and then our shipper picks up the package and heads to your home.
